When functioning as a composite reinforcement, the composite braid exhibits high strengthening properties because it is highly efficient in distributing loads. Because all the fibers within a braided structure are continuous and mechanically locked, the Super Bat has a natural mechanism that evenly distributes the load throughout the bat. The Super Bat efficient distribution of loads also make braided structures very impact resistant.
