The creation of the Reptilian ™ Design Series (US Patent Pending) by Akadema USA is a combination of technology meeting evolution. This new web, pocket & finger-less design has many features that separate it from the common ball glove. The Reptilian ™ Design Series was created to give a natural air pocket that acts as a shock absorber. When the ball hits this air pocket the impact creates a depression. This depression allows the ball to sit longer in the glove. The finger-less design acts as a shovel for easier ground ball scooping and quicker glove to hand transfer. The web-pocket and finger-less design keeps the Reptilian’s ™ unique glove shape longer than a regular glove. The Reptilian does not separate between the fingers and has less breaking points than the common glove. The unique Reptilian ™ design incorporates a "shovel effect" with all four finger tips being of equal length unlike a common glove. The Reptilian ™ Leather looks and feels like snake scales which gives better traction and grip for less ball spin.
